The California English Language Development Test (CELDT) Web site is an informational hub for CELDT District and Site Coordinators for all things related to the administration and implementation of the CELDT.   • 2017–18 Superintendent’s Designation of CELDT District Coordinator Online Form. To designate the 2017–18 Edition CELDT District Coordinator, logon to the CELDT District Portal and select the Superintendent’s Designation of CELDT District Coordinator Authorization Request 2017–18 Edition link near the top of the page. New districts must contact the CELDTCustomer Support Center to obtain a form. [Posted 03/13/17]
  • 2016–17 Superintendent’s Designation of CELDT District Coordinator Online Form. To change the current 2016–17 Edition CELDT District Coordinator or update the contact information, including the district’s shipping and billing address used through June 30, 2017, contact the CELDT Customer Support Center.   • 2016–17 Edition Secure Materials Destruction. The Secure Materials Destruction Window is open Tuesday, May 30 through Friday, July 7, 2017 View the Secure Materials Destruction Instructions document on the Document Archive Web page for more information about secure destruction options and instructions on how to indicate the method your district has chosen.   • 2017–18 Edition CELDT Scoring Training of Trainers (STOT) Workshops. Registration for STOT statewide workshops is now open. Dates and locations are posted on the Workshop Locations Web page. Registration priority for the 2017–18 STOT workshops is given to CELDT district trainers who have never attended a STOT workshop. To register for a STOT workshop, log on to the District Portal and select the Scoring Training of Trainers (STOT) Workshop link. [Posted 02/13/17]
  • 2017–18 Edition Initial Order Test Materials. Initial Order test material shipments will arrive only if your district’s 2017–18 Edition Superintendent’s Designation of CELDT District Coordinator was authorized and approved by Saturday, April 1, 2017. The delivery window for Initial Order test materials is Monday, May 15 through Thursday, June 15, 2017. [Posted 03/07/17]
  • 2017–18 Edition Initial Order Test Materials Overages and Shortages. Report overages,shortages, or incorrect receipt of materials for your entire district to the CELDT Customer Support Center Wednesday, May 17 through Wednesday, August 16, 2017. [Posted 05/11/17]
  • 2017–18 Edition Pre-Identification (Pre-ID) Window. The 2017–18 Edition Pre-ID Window will be open Wednesday, June 14 through Thursday, June 8, 2018. Review the Pre-IDServices Web page for information about purchasing labels and file submission requirements, and to download the Pre-ID User Guide and Pre-ID Data File Layout. [Posted 06/06/17]
  • 2016–17 Edition Local Scoring Tool (LST). The LST is now available. Use this calculation tool to prepare a Preliminary Local Student Score Report for students who take the CELDT as an Initial Assessment (IA). The LST is available via the Quick Links section on the CELDT Web Site. [Posted 07/01/16]
  • 2016–17 Edition Additional Orders. The 2016–17 Edition Additional Order Window closes on Friday, June 9, 2017. An additional order may be placed through the secure District Portal once each administration month. [Posted 05/11/17]
  • 2016–17 Edition Annual Assessment (AA) Window Summary Reports. The AA Window Summary Reports will be shipped to districts later this summer. [Posted 06/16/17]
  • 2016–17 Edition Request a Pickup of Scorable Materials. The last day to request a 2016–17 Edition scorable materials pickup online is Monday, July 3, 2017. If this deadline is missed, districts may ship materials "on-your-own", and they must arrive at Educational Data Systems no later than Friday, July 7, 2017. [Posted 06/06/17]
  • On-Your-Own Shipping. On-Your-Own Shipping (i.e., districts shipping scorable documents via their own carrier without using the online scorable Request a Pickup application) is not necessary unless the shipping deadlines for the close of the Annual Assessment or Initial Assessment windows are not met (October and June administration months). If the deadline for placing a Request for Pickup for October and/or June is missed, CELDT District Coordinators may ship test materials using a traceable carrier at the district’s expense.
