The California English Language Development Test (CELDT) Web site is an informational hub for CELDT District and Site Coordinators for all things related to the administration and implementation of the CELDT. Updates and Reminders

  • 2017–18 Superintendent’s Designation of CELDT District Coordinator Online Form. The window to submit a 2017–18 Edition Superintendent’s Designation of CELDT District Coordinator Authorization Request is now open. Access the online form by logging on to the secure District Portal and selecting the Superintendent’s Designation of CELDTDistrict Coordinator Authorization Request 2017–18 Edition (SDF) link. New districts must contact the CELDT Customer Support Center to obtain a downloadable electronic form. [Posted 03/13/17]
  • 2016–17 Edition Data Review Module (DRM). The CELDT 2016–17 Edition DRM is now open through March 24, 2017. To download the 2016–17 Edition DRM Data File Layout and 2016–17 Edition DRM User Guide, log on to the secure District Portal [Posted 02/27/17]
  • 2017–18 Edition CELDT Scoring Training of Trainers (STOT) Workshops. Registration for STOT statewide workshops is now open. Dates and locations are posted on the Workshop Locations Web page. Registration priority for the 2017–18 STOT workshops is given to CELDT district trainers who have never attended a STOT workshop. To register for a STOT workshop, log on to the District Portal and select the Scoring Training of Trainers (STOT) Workshop link. [Posted 02/13/17]
  • 2017–18 Edition Initial Ordering Window. The 2017–18 Edition Initial Ordering Window will open Monday, March 13, 2017 and close Friday, March 31, 2017. All districts must submit an Initial Order to receive test materials during the Initial Order test materials shipment window this spring (May through June, 2017). If an order is not submitted during the Initial Ordering Window, the next opportunity to place an Initial Order will be July 3, 2017. [Posted 02/21/17]
  • 2017–18 Edition Initial Order Test Materials. Initial Order test material shipments will arrive only if your district’s 2017–18 Edition Superintendent’s Designation of CELDT District Coordinator was authorized and approved by Saturday, April 1, 2017. The delivery window for Initial Order test materials is Monday, May 15 through Thursday, June 15, 2017. [Posted 03/07/17]
  • 2016–17 Edition Additional Ordering Window. The Additional Ordering Window is now open. Districts may place one Additional Order through the secure District Portal each month. A $45 processing fee will be charged for each subsequent order in the month. Allow 5–7 business days for processing. Report overages and shortages for these shipments within two weeks of receipt.   • 2016–17 Edition Local Scoring Tool (LST). The LST is now available. Use this calculation tool to prepare a Preliminary Local Student Score Report for students who take the CELDT as an Initial Assessment (IA). The LST is available via the Quick Links section on the CELDT Web Site. [Posted 07/01/16]
  • 2016–17 Edition Pre-Identification (Pre-ID) Extended Window. Pre-ID labels are available year-round. Prices and fees for files submitted during this window and information about providing a new purchase order, and the printing schedule are available on the Pre-ID Services Web page. [Posted 10/17/16]
  • On-Your-Own Shipping. On-Your-Own Shipping (i.e., districts shipping scorable documents via their own carrier without using the online scorable Request a Pickup application) is not necessary unless the shipping deadlines for the close of the Annual Assessment or Initial Assessment windows are not met (October and June administration months). If the deadline for placing a Request for Pickup for October and/or June is missed, CELDT District Coordinators may ship test materials using a traceable carrier at the district’s expense.
