The California English Language Development Test (CELDT) Web site is an informational hub for CELDT District and Site Coordinators for all things related to the administration and implementation of the CELDT. Updates and Reminders

  • 2015–16 Superintendent’s Designation of CELDT District Coordinator Online Form. To submit a Superintendent’s Designation of CELDT District Coordinator Authorization Request 2015–16 Edition, log on to the secure District Portal and select the link to the online form at the top of the page. New districts must contact the CELDT Customer Support Center to obtain a hard copy of the form. [Posted 12/15/15]
  • 2015–16 Edition Data Review Module (DRM). The CELDT 2015–16 Edition DRM will be open for four weeks beginning Tuesday, February 23 through Monday, March 21, 2016 [Posted 01/26/16]
  • 2016–17 Edition CELDT Scoring Training of Trainers (STOT) Workshops. STOT workshop registration will open on Wednesday, February 24, 2016.Registration priority for the 2016–17 STOT workshops will be given to CELDT district trainers who have never attended a STOT workshop. CELDT district trainers who have previously attended a STOT workshop must fulfill the 2016–17 training requirement by either completing the online training presentations and quizzes in the Moodle Training Site or attending a regional workshop. The dates and locations for the statewide and regional 2016 STOT workshops are posted on the Workshop Locations Web page. [Posted 12/15/15]
  • 2015–16 Edition Pre-Identification Extended Window. Pre-Identification (Pre-ID) labels are available year-round. Prices and fees for files submitted during this window and information about providing a new purchase order, and the printing schedule are available on the Pre-ID Services Web page [Posted 11/02/15]
  • 2015–16 Edition Local Scoring Tool (LST). The LST is now available. Use this calculation tool to prepare a Preliminary Local Student Score Report for students who take the CELDT as an Initial Assessment (IA). The LST is available via the Quick Links section on this Web page. [Posted 07/01/15]
  • On-Your-Own Shipping. On-Your-Own Shipping (i.e., districts shipping scorable documents via their own carrier without using the online scorable Request a Pickup application) is not necessary unless the shipping deadlines for the close of the Annual Assessment or Initial Assessment windows are not met (October and June administration months). If the deadline for placing a Request for Pickup for October and/or June is missed, District Coordinators may ship test materials using a traceable carrier at the district’s expense.
